About the Opportunity
This position is responsible for creating technical documentation that is appropriate for the intended audience and for developing and reporting on department KPIs and metrics. This opportunity could be a remote role or based out of our office in White River Junction, VT.
The Technical Writer, Data, will create, maintain, and publish high quality technical documentation in support of Data products and Sales and Marketing activities. The Technical Writer, Data, will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to develop an in-depth understanding of Data products and documentation needs, develop and maintain product documentation, assist in the creation and publication of sales and marketing documentation, and develop a framework that ensures documentation is stored in the appropriate location(s) and accessible by the appropriate people. The Technical writer, Data, will also develop and report on department KPIs and Metrics.

Works with Data Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to develop an in-depth understanding of Data products, documentation requirements, and the intended audiences.
Creates and maintains product documentation for Data products.
Assists in the creation and publication of documentation in support of Sales and Marketing activities.
Creates and maintains a documentation framework that organizes and publishes Data documentation in relevant systems (Sharepoint, Office365, OurPB, etc) and enables stakeholders to easily find and access documentation.
Prepares other types of documentation in support of Data group needs, such as process, organizational, operational, reporting, and project documentation.
Works with Data Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to develop department KPIs and Metrics, and publishes regular reports that track KPI and Metric achievements and trends.
Position KPIs:
Develops an in-depth understanding of Data products and documentation requirements
Documentation framework established, platforms for publishing documentation are identified, and information communicated to key stakeholders
Product documentation is kept up to date and published in the appropriate systems
Sales and Marketing materials and other documentation is created in a timely manner and published in the appropriate systems
Documentation produced is clear, concise, and at the appropriate technical level for the intended audience
Department KPIs and Metrics are developed, implemented, and reported within the agreed timeframe
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in English, Communications, or Technology, with 3 years of experience in technical writing.
Experience with Office365, Sharepoint administration, and other document sharing platforms
Expert written communication skills
Ability to communicate complex technical information to the appropriate audiences in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work with teams, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and work independently.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
