Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
prepares reports to communicate information about the NCPTSD research activities for internal and external use, works on development and implementation of programs and other initiatives that support the operational priorities of the NCPTSD, reviews of the research portfolio of the NCPTSD and productivity metrics, strategic planning for the NCPTSD, and collects information across Divisions for internal monitoring of Center productivity advances the mission of the Center via development of strategic plans, including short- and long-range priorities, and research and educational portfolio analyses Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-13 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
must have successful completion of a full four (4) year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study or specific course requirements related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of this position. (The number of semester hours required to constitute a major field of study is the amount specified by the college or university attended. If this number cannot be obtained, twenty-four (24) semester hours will be considered as equivalent to a major field of study). (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED) and SPECIALIZED
Experience:
In addition to meeting the basic education requirement, you must also possess specialized experience and/or additional directly related education to qualify for this position as described below. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13:
Must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equipped with the knowledge, skill, and ability to successfully perform the duties of the position. This specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience includes:
having knowledge of wide range of concepts, principles and practices in health sciences research program including neurobiology, epidemiology, as well as the diagnosis treatment of PTSD. Collects, conducts, and collate information for publication, and grants; provides technical assistance in consulting, evaluating programs, or research activity to include providing education; serve as managing editor for research reports; coordinate, design and plan complex projects; facilitate strategic action plans for the research center/program. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
